"I based this project off of the rule of thirds project. I chose a picture that I thought was beautiful. Using the Brush Tool, I chose the color white, set the opacity between 20 and 25, and changed the brush size to 10 so that the white did not completely stand out. I placed the lines where I felt the objects of interest were. I then added a Decor Filter, Add Border to the image. I made the border black. Next, I added an Artistic Filter, Apply Canvas. I added this to both the image and the border. This makes the picture look as if it was painted and not just a photograph. I did not change much if any of the image, just enough to make a point. I wanted this image to jump out at people as it did to me. I went through Google images looking for an image that called out to me and this was it. I think this image is beautiful and graceful. Then colors blend and this skyline has a variety of brilliant colors. I wish I could have taken this photo. I also added the photo without the grid-lines and the original to the bottom." CITATIONS
